Where do I park when I come to Hokianga Hospital?
Patient parking is available in parking area below the Main Entrance to the hospital/clinic, off Parnell Street. Follow the signs.
5 min drop off/pick up parking is available directly outside the Main Entrance.
Disabled parking is available around the back past the administration building
Maternity parking available outside the maternity unit (access via the driveway just past the main hospital entrance on Parnell street)
Parking for Covid-19 swabbing or vaccinations in Rawene is off Honey Street.

Ambulance services – do I need to pay?
All accidents or injuries are covered by ACC, and therefore no cost to the patient.
All inter hospital ambulance transfers arranged by hospital staff, are covered by Northland DHB.
Patients requiring ambulance services due to other conditions, will be charged by St John, as will patients requiring ambulance transport to go home following discharge.
To avoid St John charges for emergency care, an annual subscription to St John can be made.
