Primary Health Care Services
Primary Health care services include the diagnosis, management and treatment of health conditions, continuity of health care throughout the lifespan, health education, prevention, screening, and referral to hospital and specialists.
Hauora Hokianga offers primary health care services at ten locations throughout Hokianga.
PHC clinics are comprehensive and integrated with our full range of support services and are provided by a team of Medical Doctor or Nurse Practitioner, Community Nurses, Kai Manaaki Tangata and Clerical staff. All the services are provided free at the point of need for all people who are registered with Hauora Hokianga. A koha or donation is encouraged for people who do have the means to pay.

Consultations – Our services will be face to face or by phone consultation which will be based on an initial assessment of urgent and immediately necessary care.
The following clinics will be available with a Nurse, Doctor and Receptionist onsite.
